EDEM Simulation of Wet Mixing - Liquid Transfer in a Drum Mixer

In this example, EDEM’s Application Programming Interface (API) was used to introduce custom physics in the simulation which allows the particles to have a liquid content. In this case, water is poured into a mixer with a powder. EDEM allows the evaluation of how the water is distributed and transferred to the powder in addition to mixing analysis.

Hi Timothy - nothing has changed in EDEM. This video was made for illustrative purpose and makes use of some of EDEM's options such as the possibility to add CAD templates for visualization purposes in the post-processing stage.
